The Moderator of the United Church of Canada,
The Right Rev. Dr. Carmen Lansdowne
will be our keynote speaker on Saturday
and preaching at worship on Sunday.
 

Planning is underway.

On Friday afternoon, there will be an opportunity to attend the Ktunaxa Interpretive Centre at St. Eugene Golf Resort Casino.

 

Draft Agenda:

Friday, November 3  
         1:30 pm—3:30 pm: Organized tour at Ktunaxa Interpretive Centre.  This is an optional event for participants—preregistration is required, the cost for the tour is $25
        5:00 pm: Welcome table opens at Cranbrook United (registration, nametags, general information available)
       5:30 pm—6:30 pm: Dinner at Cranbrook United
       6:30 pm — 8:00 pm Opening Worship and Liturgy: Humility and Blessing: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” 
        8:00 pm to ….   Social Time Dessert and Fellowship – Cranbrook United

             Plenary – Cranbrook United

11:00 am—12:00 pm Cluster Breakout groups – Cranbook United

Sunday, November 5     Kimberley Shared Ministry
11:00 am—12:00 pm    Worship. Scripture: Matthew 5:1-11 Beatitudes using the All Saints Day Lectionary, with communion
The Right Rev. Dr. Carmen Lansdownewill be preaching  — Theme: Building Resilient Communities of Hope / Justice and Reconciliation / Blessings of The Good Road /
12:00 pm —1:30 pm    Lunch at Kimberley Shared Ministry with Congregations and Moderator,
Offering thanks for the Visit and the Gathering, Closing Blessing

Travel Allowance:
Travel costs will be covered for all participants from Kootenay Communities of Faith through the Kootenay Cluster Fund: $0.45 per km.

Accommodations:
Accommodation will be the responsibility of each participant. Billets may be available on request.

Meals:
Friday Dinner, Saturday Lunch and Dinner, as well as coffee, tea and snacks, will be provided by Cranbrook United Church and Kimberley Shared Ministry. (please ensure to include any food allergies or dietary restrictions on the registration form)
